About the team
The Consolidation team is on a mission to make starting with and using Wealthsimple so intuitive and compelling that clients will naturally want to hold their money and investments with us. We work across onboarding, product discovery, and our Home surfaces - as well as our loyalty program - to give clients the tools and motivations to move their money to Wealthsimple and make us their primary financial relationship. Our work directly impacts how clients first experience Wealthsimple and how they engage with our products over time. We have the ownership to build across all of the core surfaces in the client journey to consolidation.
What you'll do
Collaborate with a highly cross-functional team to build client-facing experiences across onboarding, product discovery, and our Home surfaces that will serve to give clients the tools and motivations to consolidate their assets with us.
Help drive forward systems that can power our various consolidation initiatives at scale, with a focus on back-end architecture and implementation.
Partner closely with design, product, and data teams to create intuitive user experiences that guide clients through their consolidation journey.
Contribute to our architectural vision for large-scale back-end systems that support various consolidation initiatives, such as our loyalty program and intelligent personalization and recommendations.
Build and iterate on features through experimentation and rapid prototyping, maintaining tight feedback loops with stakeholders and clients.
Help maintain and improve the most visited surfaces in the Wealthsimple mobile and web apps.
Skills you bring
Passionate about product-led growth and collaborating with design, product, and data partners to build thoughtful and seamless user experiences to help clients along their journey to consolidate with Wealthsimple.
Comfortable operating across the technology stack, with particular expertise in back-end systems.
Prior experience driving or supporting the architectural vision for large-scale back-end systems.
Embraces experiments and rapid prototyping as part of the product roll-out process - we learn through real usage of our products (both by internal stakeholders and our clients), and aim to keep a tight feedback loop as we build.
Experience with Ruby on Rails, React / React Native, TypeScript is a plus.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
