About the team
The Digital Advice team supports Wealthsimple's mission of providing financial freedom by delivering exceptional advice at scale, supporting human advisors, and ensuring excellence in portfolio management operations. We're a small, diverse team that's answering the question - how can we leverage technology to make it easier for people to help themselves with personal finance?
About the role
In this role, you will join a small group of talented and dedicated professionals with a clear mission to empower all of our clients to make smarter financial decisions through scaled advice. The Digital Advice team operates within the commercial organization, with a mandate to support our Wealth Management offering. The team supports clients, drives advice innovation, creates content, oversees portfolio management operations, and supports internal training.
What you'll do
Engage with clients on portfolio allocation: Work with our managed investing clients to help them structure their portfolios to meet their objectives.
Oversee the performance and health of core digital processes, ensuring key systems are working effectively.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Assist our Wealth management advisors, product, investment research, marketing, and other teams to ship high-quality systems, products, tools, and content that our clients actually love using.
Contribute to key team projects: Support the team in crafting content, building smart digital tools, and evolving our portfolio management operations.
Accelerate Professional Growth: Work with a team of talented, dedicated professionals who will challenge you, support you, and accelerate your growth every day.
Learn the world of wealth management: Help us scale financial advice and make it accessible to everyone.
Skills you bring
Must have the CIM designation or a minimum of CFA Level 1.
Minimum of 2-years of experience working alongside licensed advisors or portfolio managers in a CIRO or OSC regulated environment.
A passion and curiosity for investing and personal finance.
Client first mentality with excellent communication skills.
Working knowledge of French is preferred and considered an asset in this role

Compensation Range: CA$100K - CA$125K
