Join Shopify’s Enterprise & Large team and lead the charge against complex, developer-dependent commerce platforms. You’ll win net-new business by building an undeniable business case for transformation—proving lower Total Cost of Ownership, faster time-to-market, and a platform built for scale, reliability, and flexibility.
This role is for strategic sellers who can take a macro view of the commerce landscape, generate multi-product pipeline, and run large, complex evaluations with executive stakeholders—helping ambitious brands modernize how they operate across digital, store operations, and POS.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine a sales playbook to educate CXOs on Shopify’s value, facilitating large, complex evaluations alongside Solution Engineers, Partners, Sales Enablement, Legal, Product, and Finance.
Design and implement multi-product pipeline generation strategies in collaboration with sales, marketing, partnerships, and event teams.
Engage large and enterprise merchants to enhance strategies around commerce, store operations, and point-of-sale (POS).
Own net-new pipeline creation and progression—building momentum from first conversation through negotiation and signature.
Provide proactive, precise forecasting to set clear short- and long-term priorities with actionable plans.
Build influential relationships with C-level executives and senior stakeholders; multi-thread complex accounts to drive alignment and decisions.
Lead by example—sharing what works, raising the bar on deal craft and operating cadence, and contributing to a high-performance team culture.
Quickly grasp business and market nuances to enable strong point-of-view selling and effective account strategies.
Operate with a results-oriented mindset: consistently meet and exceed targets and KPIs.
Qualifications
Proven experience creating and scaling sales strategies and playbooks.
Demonstrated ability to generate multi-product pipeline and drive complex sales evaluations.
Experience selling commerce to large and/or enterprise merchants (including executive-level stakeholders).
Strong forecasting skills with a track record of setting and achieving ambitious goals.
Experience influencing C-level executives in large corporations and navigating multi-stakeholder decision processes.
Proven ability to lead within a high-performance environment (through mentorship, deal leadership, and raising standards).
Ability to apply a macro-level view of the market to develop clear account strategies and business cases.
Nice to have
Experience selling into private equity–influenced environments and/or companies roughly in the $40–250MM revenue range.
Strong background in retail POS and commerce.
Experience specifically selling commerce into Fortune 500 / Fortune 1000 enterprises.

Thrive in ambiguity + change: You stay effective when priorities shift, products evolve, and you’re building while selling.
Partner ecosystem experience: You’ve sourced, influenced, or co-sold deals with partners (agencies, SIs, ISVs, referral partners).
System-to-system / integration exposure: You can confidently sell into technical requirements (APIs, ERPs, POS, middleware) alongside Solution Engineers.
