Become a dynamic force in driving commerce growth in the Australian and New Zealand markets as a Senior Account Executive at Shopify. You will build strong relationships with new clients, delivering tailored solutions that meet their unique needs. Showcase how high-growth, high-volume merchants can leverage Shopify to accelerate their business growth while consulting on e-commerce technology stacks and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with prospects and merchants to understand their needs and provide tailored commerce solutions.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and grow Shopify usage in Australia and New Zealand.
Collaborate closely with solution engineers and partner teams across multiple channels.
Manage a comprehensive sales cycle from initial contact through to contract negotiations.
Act as an advocate and trusted advisor for merchants, influencing product team decisions.
Engage with industry stakeholders to gather market insights and strengthen partnerships.
Serve as a proactive point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance client engagements and outcomes.
Stay informed about the latest product features, industry trends, and market dynamics.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in digital commerce or technology.
Previous experience in retail sales, and an understanding of the retail landscape/ ecosystem in ANZ.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building trusting relationships.
Proven ability to manage detailed sales cycles and succeed in a competitive environment.
Expertise in D2C commerce, Shopify, and regional-specific applications and integrations.
Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making and strategy.
Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms.
Self-motivated, driven by results, with the tenacity to pursue leads and close deals.
Commitment to experimentation, continuous learning, and educating stakeholders.
Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and thrive on change.
