About the role
As an Enterprise Account Executive on Shopify's Unified Commerce team, you will spearhead our mission to bring the world's most ambitious, high-growth brands in the Lifestyle, Apparel, Consumer Goods, Food, Alcohol and Beverage industries onto our platform. Your core focus is winning net new business by crafting compelling strategies that demonstrate the power of Shopify's scalability, reliability, and flexibility. We're looking for a strategic seller who can apply a macro-level view of the commerce landscape to drive our growth and revolutionize how enterprise merchants operate.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate merchant business priorities into executive storytelling and account strategies that drive commerce transformation deals, collaborating with Solution Engineers, Partners, and other teams.
Create net-new pipeline through strategic outbound — building markets through executive engagement, partner collaboration, events, and relationship-led plays
Design and implement multi-product pipeline strategies with sales, marketing, and partnerships teams.
Lead complex enterprise evaluations and orchestrate cross-functional stakeholders through multi-threaded sales cycles.
Engage with enterprise retailers to enhance commerce, store operations, and point-of-sale strategies.
Provide proactive forecasting to set actionable short-term and long-term priorities.
Build influential relationships with C-level executives in large companies.
Support and drive Shopify’s global expansion efforts, leading by example.
Quickly grasp business and market nuances to enable strategic decision-making and effective sales strategies.
Drive measurable impact on enterprise revenue by closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals and shaping executive buying decisions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in creating and scaling sales strategies and playbooks.
Demonstrated ability to generate multi-product pipelines and drive complex sales evaluations.
Experience working with companies between $40-250MM in revenue and private equity firms.
Strong forecasting skills with a track record of achieving ambitious goals.
Experience influencing C-level executives in large corporations.
Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
Passion for supporting global business aspirations.
Strong background in selling commerce in Lifestyle, Apparel, Consumer Goods, Food, Alcohol and Beverage is advantageous.
