What We Do
Whether you’re ordering on DoorDash, navigating in a BMW, checking the forecast on The Weather Channel, or sending snaps on Snapchat, Mapbox powers the location experiences within the apps and products people use every day. As the developer platform for live location, we’re evolving how people interact with maps and location data, including bringing AI-powered capabilities into our products to create smarter, more dynamic experiences.
The Maps team builds services that reach approximately 750 million monthly active users, collecting ~318 million miles of location and navigation data per day. We help developers create and share maps that reflect the complexity of our ever-changing world and see exciting opportunities leveraging AI to make maps more intelligent, accessible, and powerful.
